PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS (WLOX) – A man wanted for allegedly kidnapping and setting his girlfriend on fire in Pearl River County is on the run, and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is asking for help finding him.

MBI spokesman Warren Strain said Jerry Glenn Willis, 43, is wanted for domestic aggravated assault and kidnapping after his girlfriend, Stacey Frank, was doused with gasoline, set on fire, and left on the side on Hwy. 11.

Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison said when Frank was found on the highway about a mile north of Pearl River County Hospital just after 11 p.m. she was naked and appeared to be bleeding. Frank was rushed to an area hospital, but was later transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Burn Unit in Jackson.

Family members tell us Frank is in critical condition.

Strain said Willis is considered “dangerous.” Anyone who sees Willis should not approach him and call 911 immediately, Strain said. Authorities say Willis may be driving a black 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV with the license plate PTW 112.

The Poplarville Police Department and Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
