CHRISTMAS IS COMING… FAST!!!
Which means, that
6TH ANNUAL GEORGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
BLUE LINE TOY DRIVE
IT’S MORE THAN A “TOY DRIVE”
When George County Sheriff Keith Havard started this drive six years ago, he recognized a shortfall for some of the children in the area.
So, he approached the community, including local teachers, with an idea. To create a way that would help provide these children with their needs.
A way that would go beyond toys.
You see, these children needed the basic necessities, like socks, underwear, shoes, jackets, and especially clean new uniforms for school.
Sadly, the need continues.
This is why THE ANNUAL GEORGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE BLUE LINE TOY DRIVE was organized. And, why it continues to be a way to meet both the needs AND the wants of some our area’s most disadvantaged youth.
HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED
